Waveform guardrails are highway anti-collision facilities, mainly designed to prevent out-of-control vehicles from rushing out of the road. They are generally made of galvanized steel plates. It is a continuous structure formed by splicing corrugated steel guardrail plates with each other and supported by main columns. Different specifications are adopted according to different highway grades.
Scope of application: According to the installation location, it can be divided into roadside guardrails and median strip guardrails. According to the anti-collision level, it can generally be divided into Class A and Class B. Class A guardrails are of the reinforced type and are suitable for use on particularly dangerous roadside sections, while Class B guardrails are used on special highways.
